Proximity

The inductive proximity switch is based on the principle of an attenuated LC-oscillator. The oscillator circuit coil generates a high frequency magnetic field. This scattering field radiates from the proximity switch sensing face. If this field is penetrated by Ferrous or Non-Ferrous metals (pick-up range), energy is reduced and the oscillator will consequently be attenuated. The result of changing current consumption is evaluated.

The Reed proximity switch utilizes a magnetic field that will cause the reeds to bend, and the contacts to pull together, thus completing an electrical circuit. The stiffness of the reeds causes them to separate-, and open the circuit-, when the magnetic field ceases.

We can offer both these technologies in various housings as standard parts or customized according to your specific needs.

Kissling

http://www.kissling.de

Wherever switches and relays are integrated under extreme conditions for demanding applications, KlSSLING products perform exceptionally reliably, for example for when very high contact ratings, critical environmental conditions such as humidity, pressure, dirt, aggressive media or increased shock and vibration stability are required. With a generally varied spectrum of standardised switches and the wealth of experience resulting from it, KISSLlNG is the essential partner also for solutions with exclusive switching requirements. Solutions can be compiled for you when standard mass-produced products reach their limits.
